About
đź‘‹ Hi!
I’m Nishant Chavan, a curious technologist with a habit of poking at systems to see how they behave (and occasionally why they break). This site is my space to document what I am learning, building, and occasionally overthinking across tech and life.
I’ve spent years learning from generous people across blogs, repos, and late-night rabbit holes, and this is my attempt to return the favor. Writing helps me slow things down, make sense of things, and turn half-formed ideas into something useful, or at least readable.
You’ll find a mix of practical notes, experiments, and lessons learned the hard way. Nothing here claims to be the final answer, it’s more “thinking out loud with a keyboard”.
Topics I tend to circle back to include:
- Cybersecurity & security operations
- Home servers, labs, and self-hosted things
- Automation and small efficiency wins
- Networking and systems
- The human side of technical work
This is an important test.

If something here helps you, makes you think, or saves you a few minutes, mission accomplished!
